We purchase raw wool from the sheep rearers & process the raw wool into woolen yarn. Afterwards this woolen yarn is used to make woolen products like sweaters, stoles, pullovers, lohi etc.
By the efforts of the Company and Raw Material Centre, Rishikesh, Natural fiber was introduced as a raw material in this area and the artisans and women SHG’s involved were imparted basic and technical training. which was company many projects for the diversification of Natural Fiber Products and generating employment for the artisans of this area. This programme aimed at providing best livelihood selection to the rural community of Uttrakhand state.

The Rishikesh Natural Fiber Handicrafts Producer Company Pvt Ltd. has provided trainings to the women beneficiaries in making handicraft products with the local raw material available in the villages. The local raw material includes bheemal and nettle fiber. These fibers are available abundantly in the forests and in the vicinity of the villages. The women have been taught to make slippers, curtains, footmats, tablemats etc out of these local and natural fibers.
