Rishikesh Natural Fiber Handicrafts Producer Company Ltd was formed on 28 October, 2020 under the AHVY scheme of O/o DC(Handicrafts), Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India and registered under the Companies Act 2013, (18 of 2013) The Producer Company comprises of 243 members who are handicraft artisans working in Locally available natural and allied fibres in Uttarakhand. At the gross root level Rishikesh Natural Fibre Handicrafts Producer Company Ltd. is engaged in production of Natural Fibre Based Handicrafts. The ultimate goal is empowerment of poor & underprivileged women through improvement in their best livelihoods.

Objectives Or Support :

The objective of the company is to carry on Business of Production, processing, promotion, designing, marketing of handicrafts, handloom and other Cottage Industries Items including support and allied activities and job works related with aforesaid works and organize marketing events, display exhibition, trade fairs in India or abroad for overall development of handicrafts produced in the cluster and socio-economic development of the craft person associated with the cluster and to render technical services, consultancy services, research and development, financial assistance and other activities for the promotion of the interests of the members, development and expansion of allied activities as may be conducive for the promotion of the handicrafts cluster.

1. The company will be held for the benefit of the cluster artisans in order to understand the concept of producer company it functioning and role responsibility of the member of the producer company.

2. The spearhead the initiation of exploring the possibilities and potentialities of market promotion of handicraft products across the country and abroad in accordance with the new look East policy etc

3. To bridge the communication gap between artisans and bulk buyer through establishing linkage commercial transaction franchise reselling technologies etc

4. Basic concept and importance of quality control and treatment of raw material and finished product.

5. The correlation of quality control with finishing and standardization of final product.

6. Role of NGO’s artisans and Entrepreneurs in the process of standardization and uninterrupted quality production.
